Cyrus Feldman is a photographer based out of Baltimore, Maryland.
He received his BFA from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, and worked as an artist and freelance photographer in Detroit for several years. Afterward, he moved to Baltimore, MD, where he earned his MFA in photographic and electronic media from the Maryland Institute College of Arts.
After receiving his MFA, Cyrus began teaching photography and digital arts while continuing his art practice.

My current work aims to blend traditional photographic techniques with new digital tools. This work was photographed on black and white 120 medium format film, which was processed in the darkroom and digitally scanned. The color was then added digitally.
My focus has been on the flora of Baltimore. Places where nature and organic worlds collide with human expansion. From buildings to roads, parks to parking lots. All over Baltimore, there are beautiful hidden plots of land where nature and urban life meet and compete, and those are the spots I try to capture in this series.
