The climate crisis is one of the most intense issues facing society today due to its urgent and overwhelming nature. Facing the climate crisis as an individual is daunting, especially with the common narrative that we are fighting a losing battle with climate change. Art can be a powerful force to counter that narrative of hopelessness all too often associated with the climate crisis. The four artists highlighted in this exhibition are a prime example of that fact, because their work recognizes the crisis we face while underscoring the progress we have made and steps that are open to us as individuals and a community to curb the effects of climate change.
