"Maybe this will work," 2023, Archival adhesive prints and vinyl, 70 x 40 inches

“Maybe this will work” documents the fracture points within growth. It centers on the fleeting, and stagnant moments where pushing through is no longer possible and only faith exists. The images taken together grasp for the earth. They are sharpened by an internal narrative while the gaze confronts the viewer as a sharp challenge for introspection. This grouping utilizes the imperfect nature of flora to create a metaphor somewhere between ego, growth, and demise.
