Join us in the gallery for a reception on
September 19, 2024 from 5-7PM

The Julio Fine Arts gallery is proud to present “Narrative Provocations” featuring the work of Loyola Professor Emeritus, Christopher Lonegan, PhD. Catalyzed by decades of teaching intertextual studio classes at Loyola, Prof. Lonegan’s ambiguous narrative paintings invite your interpretation of the exhibition’s fragmented and rhizomatic narratives.

Think of these works as incidents from unfinished stories, images from novels yet to be written…objects of contemplation…visual puzzles with no single correct solution*…

*Be comfortable with not knowing the right answer…

Professor Emeritus Christopher Lonegan has been teaching intertextual studio classes at Loyola University for 22 years.
